Hotel du Village spent much of the past century as part of the Holmquist School for Girls, which was later merged with Solebury Boys Prep School to become one of the first co-ed private schools in the country. In 1976 the "lower campus" where Hotel du Village sits was purchased by the Arbani family. From the late 70s until 2012, Hotel du Village functioned as a French restaurant until it was purchased by Landmark Developers in 2013. Today it functions as a remote country estate to host weddings and other events.
